These games were created for the Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology to demo to recruits and press.
IUVR FOOTBALL
June 2017-December 2017 (Shipped)
Football allows the player to be a quarterback in IU's Memorial Stadium, throwing passes to targets or running plays. This game has four modes, two of which we use in regular demos (takes users about three minutes with our help).
I designed the Target Practice game mode pictured to cater to players of all skill levels. There are targets of various sizes at small, medium, and large distances away, and even some moving targets to give the players plenty of opportunity to hone their skills or get acquainted with the controls.
IUVR BASEBALL
September 2017 - June 2018 (Shipped)
The second game I designed for the Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology. Baseball accommodates two players, (one pitching and one batting) in a home run derby.
The pitches vary in speed from 60-90 mph, for a much more realistic/difficult experience. You can even choose between four different types of pitches to throw towards the batter as well. The AI will choose one of the four pitches and a variable speed that can all be adjusted by the player in practice mode.
IUVR SOCCER
June 2018-Present
Designed and created a soccer goalie game with four others. Uses VR Trackers for the player's feet to get a total of five points of contact. Multiplayer mode (with other players kicking the balls from their phones in AR)Â planned which I am responsible for.
IUVR "ZOMBIES"
October 2018-Present
A good mix up in a sports-themed wave defense! Players utilize different basketball-styled weapons (chairs, basketball-flails, water bottles) to prevent the enemy team from shooting baskets. I'm currently working on balancing the game modes and UI design.
Batteries Included
This is a Virtual Reality puzzle/action game available for the HTC Vive on Steam. I was designer/project manager for the team of 15.
